How Japan meets Dutch artworks!

This can be pretty varied. 

For instance I can use: a pole, aerial ring, artworks, public street lights, trees and etc. in my performance. 

さまざまなモノをつかう。

ポール、エアリアルフープ、彫刻やアート作品、街にある電灯、木…

Not even a single object close to me is safe from becoming my personal playground equipment. 

周りにあるモノは遊具に見える。

I use these objects in order to create something new, a unique artpiece so to say. 

モノとわたしの身体を組み合わせて、

新しい何かを創造する。

When I touch such an object, I draw inspiration from it and translate it in something new. 

モノに触ると そこからインスピレーションを得る。

I especially love doing this with someone's creation. 

とくに 誰かの創ったモノ と一緒に遊ぶのが好きだ。

I can feel the spirit of the artwork when I touch it and use this as inspiration in order to explore a whole new side of the artwork with my heart and body.

魂を感じる。

モノの新しい顔を見たい。

Last year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with two Japanese artists. They made an original lacquered pole for me, which I use for performances.

去年、2人の日本のクリエイターたちとオリジナルの漆塗りポールを創った。

I will continue with this project and I will have an exhibition next year, January in Japan.

モノを創るクリエイターやアーティストと、それをつかう自分。

このプロジェクトは 日本に帰国してからも 続けていきます。

2018年1月に 京都で 展覧会を予定しています。
